Als u te maken heeft met statische lading dan is er meestal behoefte om te weten hoe hoog de lading is en welke polariteit deze heeft. Meetinstrumenten kunnen u helpen om het onzichtbare fenomeen statische lading inzichtelijk te maken.

Wanneer is het meten van statische lading nuttig?

  • voor het lokaliseren van de bron van statische lading
  • na een neutralisatie systeem om de effectiviteit te meten of de ionisatie actief te regelen
  • als kwaliteitscontrole om naar uw afnemer een waarborg te geven
  • als controle na een oplaadelectrode.

Hoe kunt u statische lading meten?

Om vast te stellen of en waar zich statische lading bevindt kan een veldsterktemeter FMX-004 gebruikt worden. Hiermee kan op een vastgestelde afstand contactloos de elektrische veldsterkte gemeten worden.

De Sensor IQ Easy biedt nog meer mogelijkheden. Deze levert meetwaarden aan componenten in een IQ Easy systeem zodat die actief geregeld kunnen worden afhankelijk van die meetwaarden. Verder kunnen via de Manager IQ Easy de meetwaarden opgeslagen worden voor verdere evaluatie. Daarmee heeft u een uniek instrument om uw proces te beheersen en procesparameters vast te leggen voor kwaliteitscontrole.

 

 

How do static meters look like

The Simco-Ion Static meters come in different shapes and lenghts, all using dedicated electrical field sensors in one or more configuration. The compact handheld meter, the FMX-004 is the most common used electrostatic fieldmeter used for measuring static electricity. The rugged tool is standard tooling for many operators and is available in many production factories worldwide. The FMX-004 is also used by students to measure objects in laboratory environments. In production lines the IQ Easy Static Sensor Bar is used in many different lenghts up to 4 meters in length.

Measuring static electricity is not a difficult process. The FMX-004 comes with a full manual and you can find a complete video online on how to measure static energy with the FMX-004 here. The Manager IQ Easy and specially the Static Sensor Bar provides options for full controll of static energy in both levels and polarity.
